RIKKU（リク）先生の「同窓会が大好き」レポート

本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は RIKKU（リク）先生です！
教え方はしっかりしているのに童顔のRIKKU先生ですが、同窓会のレポートを書いて頂きました。
RIKKU先生のテーブルは、日本の女子会を思わせる華やかな面々ですね・・・

We Love Reunions ～同窓会が大好き～
Reunions are some of the events I look forward to every year.They give everyone the opportunity to catch up and update each other about their own achievements and activities while having a good time.
The recent reunion I attended did not only have good company, but really great goodies as well.
同窓会は私が毎年楽しみにしているイベントの一つ。The recent reunion I attended did not only have good company, but really great goodies as well.
参加する全員に近況を知らせ、さらに楽しみながらお互いにその一年間で達成したことや活動を報告しあう機会を与えてくれます。
私が参加した最近の同窓会は良い友人たちだけでなく、ご馳走もたくさんありました。
Pretty drinks were served and they tasted as good as they looked.We were given the option to choose between the flavors, strawberry and green apple.

可愛いドリンクが出され、その味は見た目どおりとてもおいしかったです。味はイチゴとグリーンアップルの2つから好きな方を選ぶことができました。I chose the first one.

After the party, giveaways were also handed out.
Made in Candy had recently become popular in the Philippines and these handmade candies served as the gifts given out at the end of the reunion.
パーティのあと、景品も配られました。メイド・イン・キャンディという最近フィリピンで人気の手作りキャンディが同窓会の終わりに景品として配られました。Made in Candy had recently become popular in the Philippines and these handmade candies served as the gifts given out at the end of the reunion.
It is amazing how people work hard for these reunions but the reasons behind are not surprising at all.
We humans value friendship a lot and most of us make the best out of every opportunity we get.
こういった同窓会のために人々が一生懸命に働くということはとっても素晴らしいことだけど、その裏側にある理由は特に驚くことではありません。We humans value friendship a lot and most of us make the best out of every opportunity we get.
私達人間は友情をとても大事にし、その大半は機会を得る度に最大限楽しもうとします。
フィリピンの方は、パーティーをやったり、食事を大人数で楽しむという事を重視します。
RIKKU先生が最後に書かれている通り、大人数でのパーティーや食事を通じて、仲間内の友情、連帯感を強めているのでしょう。
ＫＯＫＯもこの女子会的なテーブルに混じりたいですが、瞬殺されそうなので止めておきます・・・
