Min（ミン）先生の「島への入り口」旅行記

本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Min（ミン）先生です！
Min先生、初めての登場です。フィリピンを代表するリゾートのPalawan（パラワン）島に行ってきました。
今回ご紹介するのは、Palawan（パラワン）島のEl Nido（エルニド）という場所なのですが、
Palawan島の名前は知らなくても、El Nido（エルニド）という場所は、一度は聞いたことがあるのではないでしょうか。
それくらい有名なところですね。
それでは、Min先生のレポートをご紹介します！
Island Getaway ～島への入り口～
Sometimes, I wish that there was a beach in our backyard. Maybe, even just one in our city would be enough. It would definitely help cool me off.
時々、家の裏庭にビーチがあったらなと思うことがあります。または私の町に一箇所でもあれば十分かもしれません。ビーチがあれば、間違いなくクールダウンすることができるでしょう。
Well, for now, I only have my memories of El Nido, Palawan to help me beat the summer heat.
The clear skies and the fresh water were a good escape from everyday city life.
I truly enjoyed my short vacation in this island because I’ve always liked the cool sea breeze more than the hot air in the city.

澄んだ空ときれいな海が、都会での日常から私を脱出させてくれました。
私は、都会の熱い風よりも涼しい海風が好きなこともあり、Palawan島での短い休暇を存分に楽しむことができました。
There were a lot of things that my friends and I did in El Nido.
One example is island-hopping.
We rented a boat and went from one island to another. We were also able to swim in different parts of the island.

そのうちのひとつがアイランド・ホッピングです。
私たちはボートを借りて、他の島へ渡りました。
そして島の様々な場所で泳ぐことができました。
Another activity was eating by the beach.
We used our bare hands to eat the fish that was cooked while we swam.

私たちは泳いでいる間に焼いた魚を素手で食べました。
Finally, we walked around the quiet and beautiful town. The people were very kind and welcoming.
They added wonderful memories to our lovely experience.
最後に、静かで美しい街を歩きました。They added wonderful memories to our lovely experience.
人々はとても親切で、私たちを歓迎してくれました。
地元の人たちは、私たちに素敵な経験と素晴らしい思い出を追加してくれました。
エルニドは「最後の秘境」という形容詞がつきますが、
有名なリゾートなので、宿泊施設が沢山あり、マニラから飛行機で直接行けるみたいです。
この記事を出す少し前にもJohanna（ヨハナ）先生が、Palawan（パラワン）島に関する旅行記を書いて頂いておりますが、これだけ講師たちの記事にも出てくるということは、余程、美しい場所なのでしょうね。
今年中にいってみたいなあ・・・。
