AGA（アガ）先生の「たった820円での旅行」レポート

今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、AGA（アガ）先生です！
今回は出張先での出来事についてレポートを書いていただきました！
出張先で財布を忘れていたことに気付いたそうですが、財布を忘れたまま飛行機で出張へ行くなんて恐ろしいですね。
しかし、AGA先生はそれでも出張先ではとても満喫されたようです！
そのポジティブ思考を見習いたいですね。

Travelling with only 820 Japanese Yen ～たった820円での旅行～
Yes, you read it right. I only have that much money in my pocket when I travelled for a business trip in the southern part of the country last week. For some weird reason, I forgot to bring my wallet. At first, I was really terrified about the incident and was about to push the panic button. But, as soon as I calm myself, I started doing the Math. I computed possible expenses versus the money that I have and concluded that it is feasible to make it back home.
そう、決して読み間違いでは無い。先週、とある出張でこの国の南部に行った時にポケットに入っていた金額だ。なぜか、財布を忘れてしまったんだ。最初は忘れたという事実に愕然としてパニックボタンを押そうかと思った。でも冷静になると同時に頭の中で計算をしだしたんだ。予想される経費に対して持っている現金を計算して、家まで無事戻ることは可能であるという結論に達したんだ。
As soon as the plane landed in the beautiful province of Ozamiz, I suddenly felt relaxed and at peace. The view was spectacular with so many Coconut trees and Green lands. The airport is smaller compared to other airports I’ve seen, though I felt really good about the place. We were picked-up by Ms. Milky (who was the Point of Contact during our stay) at the airport and we immediately proceed to the hotel. After eating breakfast we went to the function room and started the training. The first day was really a long day for me and the Lead Trainer. After eating dinner we immediately fell asleep.
飛行機がオザミズという美しい地方に着陸すると同時に、僕はとても落ち着いた、平和な気持ちになった。たくさんのヤシの木と緑の大地の景色はとても壮観だった。空港は僕が見た中では他の空港よりも小さかったけど、場所はとても気に入ったよ。空港でMs.ミルキー (滞在中の責任者) に迎えてもらい僕たちはホテルへと移動した。朝食をとった後、ファンクションルームへと移動して訓練が始まったんだ。初日は僕とリードトレーナーにとってはとても長い一日となったよ。夕食をとった後はすぐ寝てしまった。
The next day we resumed the training and it was really fun. I facilitated some games and other activities which made the crowd alive. After the training we visited a coffee shop to drink some frappe. I ordered a Macademia frappe and wasn’t expecting that the glass is tall. It tasted like roasted nuts mixed with coffee and it’s not that delicious.
翌日はまた訓練を行い、とても楽しかった。僕はゲームやその他アクティビティをいくつか主催して、参加者を活気づかせたんだ。訓練の後はコーヒーショップでフラッペを飲んだよ。僕はマカデミア・フラッペを注文したんだけど、まさかグラスの背が高いとは予想していなかった。味はロースト・ナッツがコーヒーとミックスされたような味で、正直そんなに美味しくは無かったよ。
On the third day, we visited a Government owned resort facility where I saw this beautiful huge turtle with some breathtaking scenery.

3日目は政府が運営するリゾート施設を訪れて、そこではこの美しい大きな亀が息継ぎをしているところを見ることができたんだ。島の近くにはイルカの施設もあって、見て触ることもできるんだよ。There’s a Dolphin site near the island where you can see and touch these lovely mammals.
During the last day of our training, me and my new friends visited the bay area where we witnessed this awesome bright moon across the sea. It was very romantic and peaceful. You can see a lot of people sitting on top of the seawall and they are just having a great time with their friends and love ones. There are also food stalls where you can buy a variety of street foods. My friend bought us a spicy siomai which is really good. And of course, we ended the night drinking some beers and singing our hearts out using the karaoke.
訓練最終日には、僕は友人たちとベイエリアを訪れて海の上に浮かぶこの美しい月を目の当たりにしたよ。とてもロマンティックで静かだった。防波堤の上には多くの人が座っていて、それぞれ友人や愛する人と素晴らしい時間を過ごしていたよ。食べ物の屋台も出ていて、様々なストリート・フードを買うことができるんだ。僕の友人はスパイシー焼売を買ってくれてとても美味しかったよ。そしてもちろん、そのまま僕らは何本かビールを飲み、カラオケを使って楽しんだよ。
I really had an amazing time during my trip to Ozamiz. The people are very warm, cheerful and friendly. Indeed it was one of those memorable experiences in my life. And it didn’t stop me from experiencing all of this with only 820 Japanese Yen in my pocket.
オザミズへの旅行はとても素晴らしかった。人々はとても温かく、朗らかで友好的だった。間違いなく、人生の中でも忘れ難い経験の一つとなったよ。もちろん、これだけのことがたった820円しかポケットにない状態で味わえたことも忘れてはならない。
この記事からも読み取れるように考え方ひとつで、幸にも不幸にもなれるんですね。
どんな境遇におかれても常にポジティブ思考を保ちたいです！
財布を忘れても出張先では観光も満喫し、本当に楽しまれたようです。
人間性が良く、人から好かれる性格だからこそ「お金では味わえない旅」を実現できたのかもしれません。
