本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。

今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Doy（ドイ）先生です！

Doy先生、Ilocos（イロコス）というマニラがあるルソン島の北部にあるリゾートに行ってきました。

Ilocosは、他にもMegumi先生、ＣＯＣＯ先生、Charmel先生がレポートしています。それだけ人気のあるリゾートということですね。

それでは、Doy先生のレポートをご紹介します！

Vacation at Ilocos Norte Vigan City　～北イロコス・ビガンでの休日～

I had a fabulous time vacationing at Ilocos Norte.

It was worth it even if it was more than 12-hour drive.

I saw a lot of places in Vigan City. I visited the Church, museums, souvenir shops, and marketplace.

12時間以上のドライブでしたが、とても価値のあるものでした。

私はVigan（ビガン）でたくさんの場所を見物しました。

教会や博物館、お土産屋さん、そして市場を巡りました。

I bought a lot of Empanadas and Longganisa for my family and I.
The empanada and the longganisa are the well-known specialty food of Vigan.

私は家族と自分へのお土産にEmpanadas（エンパナーダ：ソーセージや青パパイヤなどの具が入ったパン）とLongganisa（ロンガニーサ：フィリピン風ソーセージ）をたくさん買いました。

EmpanadasとLongganisaは、よく知られたビガンの名産品です。

I also bought some souvenir shirts.

I loved the history and culture of Vigan City.

It was kind of nostalgic because of the Spanish era setting in Vigan City.

You will see a lot of Spanish influences and infrastructures in Vigan.

また、私はお土産として何枚かシャツも買いました。

私はビガンの歴史や文化が大好きです。

なぜなら、スペイン植民地時代のノスタルジックな雰囲気を味わえるからです。

ビガンでは、たくさんのスペインの影響を受けた建物などを見ることができます。

I also stayed at Pagudpud Beach, Ilocos Norte for a day.

I enjoyed the white sand, cool breeze and fresh water.

I had to take a dip in the sea and swim all day.

You will really appreciate your stay in Pagudpud.

私は、北イロコスのPagudpud（パグドプッド）ビーチで1日を過ごしました。

ビーチでは白い砂、涼しい風、そしてきれいな海を満喫しました。

私は思わず1日中海で泳いでしまいました。

Pagudpudビーチでは、本当に素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができるんですよ。

I also asked the locals where I can see waterfalls near Pagudpud.
I asked for directions on how to get to Kabigan Falls.

Fortunately, I found it just a few kilometers away from the beach.

I was so thrilled when I saw the waterfalls.

I swam and enjoyed the cold and fresh water.

It was fascinating and one of the best vacations I ever had.

また、地元の人に教えてもらったPagudpudの近くにある滝を見に行きました。

私はKabigan（カビガン）滝への行き方を尋ねました。

幸いにもビーチから数キロ離れた場所で見つけることができました。

私は滝を発見したとき、とてもワクワクしました。

Kagbigan滝では冷たくてきれいな水の中で泳ぎ、楽しみました。

今回は今までで最高に魅力的で素晴らしい休暇となりました。

Ilocosは、スペイン統治時代の町並みと滝、あと、風力発電の風車が有名みたいです。

Ilocosは、飛行機で行くと約１時間で行けますが、Doy先生のように、マニラから車で行っても、途中でフィリピンの様々な景色を楽しむことが出来て良いかもしれませんね。
