Lexi（レクシィ）先生の「素敵なマイホーム」レポート
こんにちは。hanasoスタッフのＫＯＫＯです！
本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Lexi（レクシィ）先生です。
Lexi先生、以前のレポートを読んでも「セレブだなぁ・・・」と思っていましたが、今回のレポートでそのセレブ疑惑（笑）が証明されました！
ものすっごい豪華なご自宅です。
ＫＯＫＯのマニラで住んでいる部屋の300倍くらいの価値があるんではないでしょうか。
英文を殆ど見ずに、写真に釘付けになってしまいました・・・。
素敵です。1週間くらいおじゃましたい気分です。

MY BEAUTIFUL HOME ～素敵なマイホーム～
The construction of my dream house was completed within a period of six months.
私の夢のマイホーム建設は、6ヶ月で完了しました。
In the fifth month of its construction, I could see already what my house would look like.
The contemporary design was my idea and the house plan was given to me as a gift from my architect-father.

現代風のデザインは私のアイディアで、家のプランは建築家である父からのプレゼントでした。
I personally chose the plants to be used for landscaping.
I was so grateful that the finished product was really what I was expecting for my front yard.

家の前に期待していた庭を造ることができて、とても嬉しいです。
The back garden has a touch of zen.
Rocks and stones were carefully arranged.
Trees were neatly planted.
I also put a water feature at the corner most part so as to create a relaxing sound when running.

そしてバランスよく木を植えました。
また、一番奥に水場を設け、水が流れている時はリラックスした気分を味わうことができるようにしました。
I chose bold decor schemes for my interior.
私は大胆なインテリアの装飾にこだわりました。
Aside from the normal rooms, I have added a mini bar for my wine collections and visiting friends.
また、通常の部屋のほかに、ワインをコレクションしたり、家を訪れた友人のためのミニバーを作りました。
I opted to rely on minimalism in my home.
Natural light passes through from door and glass windows.
I used neutral tones for flooring, fixtures and furnishings.
To put contrast, I used red accents.

そして自然光がドアや窓ガラスから入ってくるようにしました。
私は、フローリングや家具は無難な色合いのものを使いました。
そしてコントラストとして、赤をアクセントに使いました。
My kids’ favorite spot is the front veranda on the second floor where they do chit-chatting and picnic.
子供たちのお気に入りの場所は、おしゃべりをしたりピクニックができる2階の中央にあるベランダです。
This is my beautiful home.
これが私の素敵なマイホームです。ＫＯＫＯもフィリピンで頑張っていたら、いつかはこんな家に住めるんでしょうか。
マニラでは家賃４～５万円くらいで、プールとジム付きのコンドミニアムに住めますが、このご自宅は別格ですね・・・。
