本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Lou（ロウ）先生です。
Lou先生、ガイドマップにはまず出て来ない、興味深いレポートを書いて頂きました。
レポート中にある通り、 フィリピンには7,000以上の島がありますが、人に知られていない、眼を見張るような美しい島が沢山あります。
今回は、その知られざる島のレポートですね。

Many would surely hit the beaches as this season is the hottest in the Philippines.

フィリピンでは一年で最も暑いこのシーズンに、たくさんの人がビーチを目指します。
私たちの国フィリピンには7,107の島があり、アトラヤン島もそのひとつです。
Atulayan, is a snail-shaped island located in Camarines Sur, Bicol region.
It may not be a popular tourist destination like Boracay, but this place is a must-visit for those who are seeking for new island adventure.

アトラヤン島はビコール地方・南カマリマネス州にあるカタツムリの形をした島です。
この島はボラカイ島のように人気の観光地ではないかもしれませんが、新たな島の冒険を求めている人はぜひ訪れるべき場所です。
Atulayan is an inhabited island but there are no resorts yet.So don’t expect to see beach parties at night.
It is a 30-minute boat ride from Nato Port in municipality of Sangay.
Boat ride fee ranges from PHP 1,500-2,500.
If you want to stay overnight, never miss to bring the usual camping materials like tents, clothes and food. Also make sure to get the contact number of the boatman who will be picking you up the next day.

アトラヤン島は人の住む島ですが、まだリゾート開発はされていません。
ですから、夜のビーチパーティは期待しないでくださいね。
この島へは、Sangay（サンガイ）という町にあるNato（ナト）港からボートで30分ほどです。
ボートの料金は1,500～2,500ペソぐらいです。
もし一泊したい場合は、テントや衣類、食品など通常のキャンプ用品が必須となります。
また、翌日の帰路のために船頭さんの連絡先を聞いておきましょう。

一日を通じて、私はアトラヤン島で素晴らしい一時を過ごしました。
そしてここは、静かでリラックスできる場所でした。
フィリピンは「常夏の国」という認識があると思いますが、
フィリピンは1年を乾季(11月～5月)と雨季(6月～10月)に分けることができます。
その乾季の中でも、４，５月は1年の中でも最も雨が少なく、気温が高い月になります。
今回ご紹介頂いたような場所に行くのに、最も適している季節と言えるかもしれません。
ＫＯＫＯがこんな楽園みたいなところ行ってしまったら、二度と文明社会に帰ってこないのではないかと思うので、気をつけようと思います・・・。
