Hazel（ヘイゼル）先生の「凧揚げの日」レポート
こんにちは。hanasoスタッフのＫＯＫＯです！
本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Hazel（ヘイゼル）先生です。
Hazel先生、凧揚げをエンジョイされたみたいです。
日本ではあまり凧揚げを見ることもなくなりましたが、フィリピンでは学校行事として行われているみたいです。
素敵ですね。
それではHazel（ヘイゼル）先生のレポートをご紹介致します！
“KITE FLYING DAY”
It was windy and the sun was shining brightly.
It was a perfect day for my son’s “Kite Flying Day” in school.
It is one of his school’s activities that promote family bonding. We were all very excited to fly our kites.
My son jumped in excitement when he saw all the kites up in the sky.
There were big and small kites but all equally colorful and pleasing to the eye
His friends greeted him with hugs and high fives.

その日は風が強く、太陽が明るく輝いていました。
そして息子の学校で催された「凧揚げの日」にはもってこいの日でした。
凧揚げの日は、家族の絆を深めるための学校行事の一つです。
私たちは皆、凧揚げの日を楽しみにしていました。
空に揚がったすべての凧を見て、私の息子は興奮して飛び跳ねました。
凧は大きなものから小さなものまでありましたが、共通しているのはどれもカラフルで目を楽しませてくれるということです。
息子は友達と抱き合い、ハイタッチをしました。
We headed to our respective tents to deposit our belongings and greeted the other parents and kids.
We excitedly ran to the field so we could fly our own kites.
It was nice seeing parents spending time with their children.
It was evident that the parents also enjoyed flying kites as much as the kids.
The smiles on everyone’s faces were priceless.

私たちはそれぞれのテントに向かい、持ち物をそこに預け、他の子供たちや家族に挨拶をしました。
そしてワクワクしながら運動場へ向けて走り、凧を揚げました。
親が子供たちと一緒に過ごすのを見ることはとてもよいものです。
また、親たちも子供たちと同じぐらい凧揚げを楽しみました。皆の笑顔はかけがえのないものです。
At the end of the day, hearts were pounding and faces were smiling. We were all thankful for a wonderful event. As we headed to our cars, kisses and hugs were exchanged. We promised to see everyone again soon.
この日の終わりには、胸はドキドキし、笑顔でいっぱいでした。私たちは皆、この素晴らしい行事に感謝しました。車へ向かう際、私たちはキスと抱擁を交わしました。そしてまたすぐに会うことを約束しました。
