本日は、hanaso講師の英文レポートをご紹介します。
今回のレポートを書いて頂いた先生は、Jake（ジェイク）先生です!
Jake先生、タガイタイというフィリピンで有名なリゾートに行かれたようです。
過去にこのブログの中でも、Yan先生がタガイタイの記事を書いて頂きました。
タガイタイは、それだけ皆が興味を示す魅力的な場所だということなのでしょう。

TAGAYTAY: A Southern Haven ～タガイタイ：南の楽園～
Since I started working, I made it a point to have monthly adventures that would allow me to
visit places and unwind. After a recent trip to the North of Metro Manila, I now decided to return to a well-loved destination a little South of the city – Tagaytay.
This place is known for its cool weather and breathtaking natural sights including the world-renowned Taal Volcano, beautifully surrounded by a body of water.

私は働き始めてから月に1回はどこかを訪れ、くつろげる冒険に出ることにしています。
最近メトロマニラの北へ旅行に行った後、私が大好きな南にある小さな都市Tagaytay（タガイタイ）に再び行くことしました。
ここは涼しい気候と、美しい水に囲まれた世界でも有名なTaal Volcano（タール火山）など、息を呑むような自然の風景でよく知られている場所です。

その日は、お気に入りの観光スポットへ1時間のドライブにはもってこいの日でした。
私は、自然が大好きな人にとって半ば楽しみである、長くてカーブの多いルートを進みました。
I then drove to my chosen hotel, which in a few words was very intimate, peaceful, and truly conducive for earnest relaxation.
それから、私が選んだ落ち着いていて、静かで、くつろぐには最適と言えるホテルまで運転しました。
But aside from numerous boutique hotels and budget-friendly hotels, Tagaytay also has a wide variety of restaurants lined up along its stretch of roads.
These restaurants offer various Filipino favorites like the famous Bulalo soup consisting of tender beef cuts boiled and flavored with vegetables and spices.

数多くのデザイナーズホテルや安宿以外にも、タガイタイには様々な種類のレストランが通りに建ち並んでいます。
これらのレストランでは牛肉をやわらかく煮込み、野菜とスパイスで味付けた有名なスープ、Bulalo（ブラロ）など、様々なフィリピン料理を提供しています。
Tagaytay is indeed a haven for anyone in search of a break for the mind, body and soul.
タガイタイは心と体、魂を休めることを求める人には最適な楽園です。
Jake先生、以前はスービックの記事を書いていただきましたが、ドライブが好きみたいですね。
ＫＯＫＯもこちらでドライブに行きたいですが、
ちょっとフィリピンでの運転は、日本とはだいぶ勝手が違うので怖いかも知れません・・・。
Jake先生に連れて行ってもらうおうかなあ・・・
